Jarno Saarisen tie

There is a new Jarno Saarinen street in Turku since the beginning of the year 2001.

It is on the island of Ruissalo and it is part of the former racing circuit, were

Jarno rode several races . Dutchman Klaas Tjassens, together with

Jarno’s eldest brother Jarmo and his wife Cicca ,did something

to convice the mayor of Turku that Jarno deserved

his “own” street.
